Hello there, I have bought a complete copy of Earl Weaver Baseball (3.5 floppy version) and I need some help.

Here what I do

I didn't have problem while installing with original floppy

Like I do with all my DOS game , I use

mount m m:\games\dos\ (M: is the drive letter of my external drive)
cd ewb2
Ewb2

at this moment, Nothing happen, I can't input command to Dosbox and I must close it. (also tried with mount c c:\dos\ewb2 to see if It the long path was a problem)

Earl Weaver Baseball II on the website is only in ''runnable'' condition. I don't seem to be much better with DosBOX 0.74.

Any solution is greatly appreciated

if you install then you need to have mounted a drive where you install FROM and a drive where you install TO.
Both preferably using the driveletters common in the DOS age, thus A and C (for floppy) or D and C (for cdrom)

mount c m:\games\dos\ (Tried and do not work)

Ive installed the game by mounting the original floppy and installing it on

c:\dos

then I moved the folder to my external drive in the folder with all my other DOS game I have and its the only one not workiing. It quite strange that the others does. I have game like Monopoly (1985), Doom or street fighter II

I will try to manually install (by copying the file to a folder unless its copy protected) to see if it will work that way

SOLUTION: Manually install fixed the problem

I have found out that when im installing with the floppy or image, the installer was not installing anything when it asked to insert the graphic art floppy. So it was MISSING FILES

Now it work, I just have to find out how to use aldilb

I know there is a 5.25 floppy version of that game that come in 3 disk
PROGRAM, GRAPHIC ART and GRAPHIC ART 2
The 3.5 Floppy come with Program and Both Graphic on the same floppy, maybe the installer skip when it ask for the graphic art 1 floppy thinking it is not there.

If you guys have an explaination about that, it would be nice to know but as for now, the problem is fixed and I managed to run the game
