the elder scrolls: arena stands in the supported games list, but I'm having problems with it. Namely, if I start the game it says 'Not enough EMS'.

Running dosbox 0.74 in Linux, comp specs:
2.93 Ghz Celeron
1568 RAM
256 MB ATI video card

xms, ems, umb are all enabled. As an additional note I should say I start it from win 3.1 I have running in dosbox. running it just in dosbox ends with a black screen and me having to sudo killall dosbox.

Either follow Bethesda's installation guide to the letter, or maybe try my gamepackarchive.

Well, doesn't exactly work through windows 3.1 either, does it?

got it working, it was some weird version of ES: Arena. downloaded another one. sorry for wasting your time and thank you for the help.
