I bought this right now : http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View … em=150751262117
It's an S3-864 with one 864 chip for every color (RGB) and 2MB per chip (6MB total). It's a pretty full lenght pci card.

More info : http://www.vgamuseum.info/index.php/component … -maxmedia-cxpro

Drivers for W95 : http://www.treiberupdate.de/treiber-download/ … mediaCXPro.html

I've a plan for this S3...

But it's untested (I hope it works! 😀 ).

As fas as I know... those three chips are only usefull if you want to work at 24bit color and high resolutions (1280x1024 and above). I think is as fast as a single Vision864 (that is fast enough for dos games! at least games I usually play) But would be wanderful if somebody find (or develop) a driver to make it work as triple-core S3!!!!

In the other hand, I can't find a Win3x driver...

Best!

I am tempted to grab the last one 🤣
I wonder if there are any benchmarks in low-res stuff

I bought it because I have a curiosity to see how it behaves under DOS and Win95... It's not much expensive (I pm to the seller to lower the price because it's untested, and he applied a 5$ discount ) 😉

I'm looking forward to seeing how it works! Pretty nice purchase I would say.

I've found drivers for NT 3.5 and W95 (and may be Win3x). But my vga not arrived yet, so those are untested.

Files tested with Kaspersky
