Hey everybody!
i recently came across some old floppy-disks i compressed in Win98SE using "DriveSpace". When I try to read them, i only see a DRVSPACE.000-File, wich i can not open.
Searching the Internet I found out, that the only way to open these files would be to get a system that still runs win98 to open the files.
But isn't there a simpler way? My Idea was, to open the DRVSPACE.Bin (from the Win98-Boot-Disk) in Dosbox and extract the files.
Does that sound possible? I'm a bit scared to screw something up when dealing with these old disk-utility-programms..... 😖
Has anyone tried this already? Any tipps?
I use Dosbox on a MacBook, OSX 10.5.8.
Thanks!! 😀
