Hi All,
With reference to Symbian DosBox(0.73 - ported by Kolijoco) on Nokia N8(Symbian Belle), would like to share my short experience in successfully compiling, executing, and debugging C programs, everything in-house.
I am hereby attaching the SIS, the conf, DJGPP gcc, and gdb and the related libs I have used. Please refer the SF project - Symbian DosBox for Virtual Keyboard by Alex and DJGPP site for cswdpmi7b. I had to use a different dosbox SIS from the one present at the SF site as the gcc was unable to launch and was crashing on it. Probably, some difference seems to be there in the one I have got from somewhere else from what SF site has as 0.73.
I have installed everything(DosBox and the dependencies present at SF site) under e:\. And I have gcc, gdb, libs, cwsdpmi7 under one folder. And dosbox.conf, the files related to virtual keyboard under e:\data. The dosbox version used crashes if dynamic CPU type is chosen which would otherwise be a lot faster - as fast as a desktop PC.
Please let me know if any other information is needed.
Cheers,
Raghavan
