Layouts de teclado brasileiros ABNT2 e Nativo (tipo de Dvorak brasileiro) improvisados (já que o ABNT2 oficial não funciona muito bem e Nativo nem existe kkkkk).

É só baixar o arquivo teclados_brasileiros.7z anexados, as instruções estão dentro.

Hi. I thought I should make a new post for this because it includes a Nativo layout (sort of a Brazilian Dvorak) besides the regular ABNT2. Also because it'd be nice to have all the important info in the top first post.

I made this improvised mapper files in order to be able to use those 2 layouts properly. Both mapper files are inside the attached zip teclados_brasileiros.7z, along with detailed instructions in Portuguese.

Case any of you non-Portuguese-speakers are wondering what I did, first, get familiar with the problem here.

The ÁÀÃÂÇÉÊÍÓÔÕÚ characters are not really necessary to use DOSBox, the only very mild differece between ABNT2 and regular Qwerty is the placement of some keys.

So I used regular keyb=none as a base, and switched the places of keys (but of course, some of them would be changed, for example, Ç would become C).

And about the extra key, DOSBox does recognize it, but it can't be saved to the mapper. So it has to be reset everytime DOSBox is turned on 😒 .

Similar process with Nativo etc.
