I am attempting to play the game UnReal World, which is a survival rpg. Versions 1.0-2.2 were for dos and distributed via shareware.

I can't seem to find any dos versions after this.

When I start v1.00b in 0.74, the title screen pops up and gives me the starting options assigned to F1-F4. However, hitting these keys does nothing. I have tried every key on the keyboard.

I have also tried:
changing core to normal
cputype to 386, 386_prefetch
turning off upper memory options
running w/ loadfix

Same result across the board. The title animates, but no key presses are read.
