Hey guys,

So a bit new to using Dos Box. I want to run an old game (Romance of Three Kingdoms) on my Windows 7. The game was made for the Windows 95, so I'm assuming Dos Box can be used to run it. It's also in Chinese. So I saved the two pictures on a quick blog post I made. First one is where I saved the Files (in the C:\ Drive) and the second is the original files that came with the Disc.

This is what I tried so far:
Z:\>mount C "C"\games"
Z:\>mount d "D:\" -t cdrom
Z:\>C:
C:\D:
D:\dir /w
D:\autorun.exe (also tried setup95.exe)

Then it says that this program cannot be run in DOS Mode. Is there anything else I can do?

NOTE: When I was trying to install it normally, it said that it can't be installed because I don't have a 16-bit system or something along those lines.

Thanks for any help 😀

1. you do not run windows games in dosbox
2. you need a 32bit o/s or run a 32bit o/s in a virtual machine

ps: chances are that the game will run in win 7 just not install so you can copy the files from xp to win7
