i've sought out an old 486DX-33mhz machine (has a Cheetah XL (i cant tell which rev.) VESA videocard, a Sound Galaxy Pro 16 soundcard a 206MB HDD and 4MB Ram [30pin 1MB x4 SIMMs] (running Dos 6.22 w/ win 3.11 WFW installed)

alongside loadding various dos games on this i first encountered 2 issues.

The Secret of Monkey Island (stack overflow [hopfully the 486 patch works])

and

Day of the Tentacle (just blackscreens after loading its main exe no sound no nothing and if i wait a lil i get the beeeeep on pressing any of the keys indicating the pc locked up.)

does DOTT not support a VESA card? or like MI1. do i need a upgrade patch?

edit2: D.E.R.P finally after finding a dosbox forum post.. the game will crash if Soundcard settings are invalid. so its time to get around settings for this Sound Galaxy Pro 16 card :3
