Maybe you have to `label` the floppy disks.. Otherwise the installation wont see your disk 1.

Just label the disks as:

"sound blaster pro disk #1"
"sound blaster pro disk #2"
"sound blaster pro disk #3"

Without the quotes.

I forgot to mention that I tried another version. That someone out up on the site and that one fails because it's looking for a disk with a file called "disk.id" and a volume name of "sbpro_disk1"

I formatted the floppy with the /v switch so I could specify that volume label, and also copied the disk.id file from other disks that someone uploaded there too, but to no avail.

Which Sound Blaster Pro do you have? From the link the original Sound Blaster Pro (1.0) has install disks that are either 360KB or 720KB in size. The Sound Blaster Pro 2.0 disks have install disks that are 1.44MB in size. You need to pick the right set of drivers for the card.

The volume labels for the Sound Blaster Pro (1.0) disks must be as follows :
SBPRO DISK1
SBPRO DISK2
SBPRO DISK3 (if using 360KB files)
SBPRO DISK4 (if using 360KB files)

The volume labels for the Sound Blaster Pro 2.0 disks must be as follows :
INSTALL
APPLICATION
ACCESSORIES

Note that no floppy disk volume label can be more than 11 characters long. DOS file and directory names can have no more than 8 characters for the name plus 3 characters for the extension. Unline file and directories, spaces and periods are legal in a disk volume label, but you don't get more characters for extensions.

I have the CT1330A.
When I run the test software, it works fine.
