When I open the install screen of flashback I get a black screen. I can see nothing.... I tried to set a different output (surface, opengl) but they didn't help. Has anyone a suggestion?
Can you install it natively and then reconfigure sound hardware? Is it the floppy or CD version? I think this has been already discussed on the forum, SEARCHing is your friend. 😁
That's strange when I open the install prog nativly I see the install screen.
I search the forum but I couldn't find a topic that match my problem. I have the floppy version of flashback.
I think i still got it somewhere at home. I will look into this and post back.
Well, The installation screens displays somehow funny under DOSBOX; you can install it natively and then run install.exe to configure sound, although you'll have same display issues. After that, it runs quite well although it makes use of some strange video mode.
