Does anyone know if there is a midi file player where I can replace any instrument including GS ones with a custom soundfont including drum kits?

The closest I found was Xmplay where I can replace any of the 128 GM instruments but not drums or GS as far as I can see.
It's just to play classic game music music for listening, it doesn't have to work with a game.

Akai MPC is a solid line of midi controllers that may or not be compatible.
