Hi, I am new to pc emulation and had a question about emulating old windows OS on virtual machines. Have you ever heard of Virtual Box? How does it compare to the other virtual machine software available such like VmWare?
What's your metric? I wouldn't use it in a performance sensitive environment, but it does the job for the most part.

That's very dependent on your usage scenario.
If it's old games, I wouldn't use virtualization software for that at all.
