Hi,

I was lucky enough to get a very cheap ($1.25) Geforce2 MX 200 (PCI with 32Mb memory) from eBay that I installed into a PIII @ 700Mhz. I have both Win98 and WinXP on it. What forceware should I install for each OS to get best performance? I currently have 80 something on Win98 and 95 on WinXP. But I think those are "too new" and older forceware should be better. But what?

I do not use anything newer than 45.xx with Geforce 2 but I have forgot why.

3x.xx probably has some benefit in Windows 9x compatibility wise but dont ask me what exactly.

Detonator 45.23 is a safe bet, probably both for Windows 9x and XP. I have at least not had any issues at all with this driver and the performance is good with a Geforce2 MX 400.
