Hi...
Today, the new 3.6 volt rechargeable battery came in the mailbox. And I wanted to solder it in, straight away. Then I realised that there is not marked any minus or plus on the motherboard, so I actually do not know wich way to turn the battery. I tried to search the internet, using the name of the board, yet I do not find any pictures of this board, with the barrel battery still attached to it. Perhaps anyone can point me to a picture of this, or anyone that knows if the plus pin on the battery has to point up and towards the keyboard connector. (Or if it is minus that goes that way)
The name of the board, should be (acording to a user here on Vogons) "Free Computer Technology, Inc. CACHE 486 ISA".
As I said... There is no markings on the PCB, total hardware database does not give a hint and I can not source a picture with the barrel battery through google searching. Guess I am a bit out of luck here. So I hope someone here can help me. I have attached a few pictures of this thing.
Thanks in advance.
