not sure if i am right here, but there are several versions of amd486dx2-66, and to my understanding they can be divided into 4 generations:

1. the oldest version, simply marked "486dx2-66" with no cache and voltage info. running on 5v voltage like intel ones, power consumption unknown,.
2. the v8t/nv8t version, they are amd's first 3.3v 486s. "t" means wt cache, "n" meant removed ice microcode due to intel's lawsuit. power sumption is ~2.4w compared to intel's 6w. also available in dx4-100.
3. the sv8b version, "b" means wb cache, "s" means amd's own redesigned ice microcode. power consumption is same as nv8t. also available in dx4-100.
4. the v16bgc version, the fastest one with 0.35 process and 16kb wb cache. power consumption is ~1.6w, also available in dx5-133.

now, does any know if the nv8t and sv8b versions have locked multiplier? and can they overclock to 100mhz like the dx4-100? (either 33*3 if multiplier is not locked, or 50*2 with appropriate mainboard)
