I really don't like how Fluidsynth has been not been given a stable released since 2012 and as far as I've looked has had no further developments since then. I'm wondering if there are any softsynth's that take .DLS rather than .SF2, I know of TimMidity++ and others but those require .PAT's with a properly configured .INI file for them and I rather have something simple and basic like .DLS than have a dozen files strewn about.
