Anything I should watch out for with this card. Got it for my P3 so I can use my 500gb SATA drive with it and use my promise ata133 in my k6

This chip has a bad history with motherboards older than P4/AthlonXP systems. Depending in the implementation, it would require MSI/MSI-X style interrupts, which aren't available in many P3 chipsets. I wouldn't recommend SATA cards based in this chipset for P3 and lower systems.

well shoot
I would recommend an Adaptec pci SATA 1 card. I had one and it was great for newer and older system's both. Otherwise a Promise card is a good option as well. I know my VIA pci sata cards have all been non-bootable and kinda weird with different chipsets
Main pc: Asus ROG 17. R9 5900HX, RTX 3070m, 16gb ddr4 3200, 1tb NVME.
