I noticed several people mention improved GUS support for Turrican 2 via a patch. I have a CD version of the game, not sure if that already includes it (the installer still says 'not 100%' next to the GUS option), but just in case: does anyone here still have that patch, or the patched file(s)? None of the links I found still work.

The patch here may not be the one you have in mind, as it's not difficult to find. If you're trying to get rid of the distorted sound with GUS, everything I've read suggests using SB16 instead, and not just for DOSBox.

Yep, that's the one! Where did you find it though, thought I'd used some serious Google-fu?

I was hoping it would correct a hang that happens when dying or going back to the main screen that only happens with GUS, but... it didn't.

The Patches Scrolls used to be a good site to find patches before it changed owners, but sometimes an archived page can be mined for useful info. The old download link is not working, but it told me the name of the archive, so I then searched for: +"turrican II" +"t2_gus.zip"
