This is a later time (but not too late) point and click adventure game. It is 2D (pre-rendered/drawn backgrounds). It supports slightly higher resolutions like 640x480 I think. You start the game in a Carribean island (modern times) and your character is a male. And I think the game is about finding a treasure (you can enter in the local museum and what not). You might be a journalist or just someone in vacation, I do not remember.
