I noticed that my PCI Voodoo3 2000 has a very dark VGA output.

Looking at the PCB i noticed darkened areas around the PCB where 1. The main voltage regulator is, 2. Around the GPU.
I tried having a fan blow onto the card directly and the output quality from the VGA improved.

I know these cards had a reputation of running extremely hot with their passive heatsinks, but im wondering if mine is permanently damaged from prolonged heat exposure or if its save-able ?
