Any Way to shrink the popup window even further?

I am running it in Linux and I wish my dosbox popup to be smaller (right now it is taking more than 1/4 of my screen) I want to shrink it to about /16 of the screen. Is it possible?

Yes, it is. See the option "hwscale" in DOSBOX.CONF. It works with "opengl", "opengnb" and probably with "overlay" (but I think not with "surface") output.
