Broken DIN-5 AT keyboard connector ?

The DIN-5 AT keyboard connector on my 486-motherboard was damaged during shipping and the two front soldered connectors broke.
Should I replace the DIN-5 or re-solder the two front pin connectors ?
Do the two front pins actually connect to anything or are they just there to hold down the connector ?

They may be just structural, but I believe they also ground the shell of the din connector. If they're broken, you risk damaging the pads on the motherboard every single time you plug a keyboard in. I would suggest replacing the connector if possible.
