My Lenovo L191 '19 LCD monitor just bit the dust today, just shows a white screen.

Hmm... off the top of my head, it could be power, internal cabling, or maybe the T CON board.

it just failed out of the blue earlier today, just woke up to a solid white screen when i turned on my Pentium 133 machine, thought my Pentium 133 machine's s3 trio went belly up, but when i tested it on my crt, it worked fine. i tested another machine on the monitor like my Mac Performa 630cd and my Gateway Solo laptop and my Pentium 3 machine, same thing. even shows white on the no signal screen. just got this monitor from the thrift store a couple weeks ago. I also have a Dell Ultrasharp 1704FPV which works fine, but it's smaller, just a bit. but same resolution (1280x1024), currently using it as my replacement.
