I signed up for the e-mail notifications for the new screen they are selling for the GameBoy Color: Backlight screen. No case modifications and no soldering required. Has a 5 brightness control by touching the case with your finger.

I bought one with a new shell and glass screen cover since the case I have for my GameBoy Color has seen better years. If this sounds like advertising, please let me know and I'll change it or the mods can change this or delete this thread.

For those who are interested. Yes, I know the one from Midwest Embedded exists, but, they are out of stock until August 1st. I've heard amazing things about that myself and I'm not a case mod expert or anything, however, I need to get a new Game Link Port for my GameBoy Color and the ones I've seen are only the GBA style that requires a slight mod to get the port to fit easily.

In case this thread sounds like complete advertising or anything else, please let me know or feel free to make the changes when possible and I do apologize for posting this in case if it is advertising. I only wanted to spread the word about this in case anyone wanted to get a replacement screen for his or her GameBoy Color.
