While the version I have has an exe file called VGAB.EXE with the following cheksum, it worked with that one as well! Great finding, that always bothered me before, too! 😀
SHA256: 5AFD9D78966263DD873126B0DFA01F3DF1443CDDEE33BD0637DC80D6EDB84540
CRC32: EAE1A21A
I found the same version of The Blues brothers, It seams a french version. I downloaded a program called HxD too, but now I don´t really know what to do.
I loaded the archive VGAB.EXE into HxD, and I discovered how to get that SHA256, going to the menu called Analysis, then select Checksum and look for the SHA256 and click OK and then the same string appears to me:
SHA256: 5AFD9D78966263DD873126B0DFA01F3DF1443CDDEE33BD0637DC80D6EDB84540
And the same way I found the CRC32 is the same too, EAE1A21A
And after that I don´t know how to continue.
"@Akuma says:

If your checksum differs search and replace
a0 c6 77 8a 26 c6 77 3a c4 74 f8
with
b8 01 00 40 3d ff 30 75 fa 90 90"
Ok, but when I use the Search, copying "00ccc0 08 74 fb eb 0c 90[a0 c6 77 8a 26 c6 77 3a c4 74" it doesn´t appear, and I really don´t know how to do that, I never used a program like that. I must use Search or Replace? I copied correctly, I mean, is "00ccc0 08 74 fb eb 0c 90[b8 01 00 40 3d ff 30 75 fa 90" correct or I miss something? Where I use that in HxD?
I want The Blues Brothers run in the right manner, without slowdowns.
Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.
