Posting here because a quick search showed that there were members on this forum who were Amibay Administrators and were able to resolve account issues.

Over a month ago now I tried to create an Amibay account to participate a bit more in the community since I have a growing collection of old equipment that I like chatting about. I was able to get through the initial sign up process and even clicked the link in the verification email. To my dismay I received an email when I got home from work that the account had been perma-banned, it looks like it was from an automated system as the ban happened exactly 6 hours after registration, I hadn't even made a post or reply yet. I didn't use and VPN in the sign up process etc. All i can imagine is the DHCP assigned IP didn't look like it came from where I entered as my location.

I would be grateful if somebody could check this out, my username is the same as my username here.
