Here's a photo of my latest bag of swag from a car boot sale I went to 2 weeks ago:

I've had Man Flu for the last couple of weeks so only just getting around to check this haul out! Apparently the car boot seller has 30+ more of this age laptops so I shall be going back this Sunday to see what he has left!...

I've powered up a couple of the IBM ThinkPads (I just happened to have 4 IBM branded power adapters from this era, just no laptops (until now) to use them with)! The normal CMOS/BIOS battery issues which have been replaced but still getting a few errors that I need to sort out.

The Shuttle didnt have a hard disk drive but I just so happened to have a 300GB IDE hard disk that I used to have in an old USB enclosure so I installed that, Installed XP Pro and it runs sweet as a nut 😀

Last month I got my first Ultra Mobile PC that was designed for Windows XP (bargain on eBay this time):

It has 3 small screws missing underneath the battery that I need to source (got loads in tubs I need to look through) and I just so happened to have a 'brand new old stock' universal laptop power adapter of the time so was able to power it it with no issues!
