So recently I've been working on putting together a DOSBox gaming discord since there aren't enough places that properly offer the opportunity to play with other people. DOSBox for the most part has been something that has a niche appeal for most people, but I've made patches for several Steam release DOSBox games that will put the experience on par with GOG's offerings. This means that you don't have to manually fiddle with DOSBox to open up the setup program or play multiplayer over IPX tunneling, as you can all do it from a simple menu system. I hope I'll see some of you guys there. Be sure to read through all the introductory channels to get started.

Officially Supported Games Include:
- Ultimate Doom/Doom II
- Quake
- Heretic/Hexen
- Duke Nukem 3D
- Shadow Warrior
- Blood

And PLEASE be sure to read the stuff in the welcome channel to get up to speed.

Very cool!

Can folks coordinate with eachother to play any game that supports IPX (or just the supported set for now)?

I didn't realize just how many DOS games came with IPX support.. Here's MobyGames' list (308 entries!):

Also curious about your patches - are they posted somewhere?

People CAN coordinate to play other games over IPX, it's just that those other games are less likely to be used in weekly events.

As for the patches, they are linked in the getting started channel in the discord, although I do have my Quake patches on ModDB, with a version for GOG and for Steam/other releases.
