I buy tivo3 hd receivers from thrift stores cheap for the sata drives inside.
The standard is 160gb but sometimes I luck out and find one that has been upgraded to 1 or 2 Tb
Todays experiment is DOS 7.10 on a 2Tb drive
hddguru fdisk made the partition 356.92Gb
The rest I will use for win7
tivo2's had the pata drives so I don't bother with those anymore.
80% of the time the hardrive will be ok,the rest of the time the drives are dead.
Some people donate junk.HD dvr sat receivers have sata also,I dug one out of a dumpster but the 2Tb drive was dead.
