I recently updated my Glidos from V1.26 to V1.30 on my Windows XP system to support the new Audio Packs (very nice).

Two weeks ago I played TR1 with Glidos V1.26 and had no problems. After installing V1.30 I find that there is no sound in the Cut Scenes. I checked the Cut Scene with Larson at the end of the Tomb of Qualopec and the one with Natla at the end of Atlantis.

Before upgrading, I copied the Glidos directory to another partition, in order to be able to compare the two directories later to see what changes had been made.

So I can start the game with either the V1.30 version in my C directory, or with the V1.26 version in my other directory.

With V1.26 -- sound in Cut Scenes; with V1.30 -- no sound in Cut Scenes.

This is with Pentium 4 2.00 GHz Processor, nVidia GeForce2 MX400 Graphics, and Sound Blaster Live! Audio.

Has anyone else had this problem? Or is it only me?

Thanks for pointing that out. Its because those cut scenes use CD tracks, and I haven't yet set up the triggers for Glidos to play them from the audio pack.

After updating to V1.30, I immediately played through the first three levels of TR1. I've never played the game on Playstation, so I didn't know what I was missing. It's very nice having that music restored.

I played the game on two computers at the same time -- my older Windows ME system without Glidos and my Windows XP system with Glidos V1.30, so I could compare the places in the game where the music was restored.

It's like the threat music in some of the other TR games when something bad is about to happen.

Hmmm, I really must get down to reating the trigger files for the other levels. Its a very long winded process, and I haven't had much time lately.

And I'll be happy to check the triggers with my version, since we established that the textures are slightly different than yours.
