For those into this hobby and supporting several hardware options, how do you organize software? Images and installers... apps, games... utilities... drivers... documents... benchmarks... I’m finding that there is a lot to accrue and I’m not sure the global and local optimums when it comes to:

1) Organizing apps... by OS?
2) Drivers? By category? OS? By PC?

And I’m sure many more.

I’d be interested to see others’ top level folder structures for organizing SW to support a broad HW collection.

First OS, then by type (games or other programs), then by year.
Drivers gets ->Manufacturer, component name, OS version and lastly driver versions.

Probably looks like a mess for others but works for me =)

By system, then by type, then by attributes if applicable (e.g. "unreleased")
