Hello
93F2379 How to open the soap box IBM mouse ?
- There is only 1pc screw but the top plastic is still attached with some kind of plastic clips on the cable side.
- Worried I'm going to break those clips.

Strange, I just opened mine like any mouse: remove the single screw, start pulling both shell parts from the back and then separate the "hook" that joins them on the front. Mine is model 13H6690, is yours the same? If there are clips keeping both parts together, maybe you can use something thin and plastic (like a guitar pick, or a thin plastic card) to spearate them one by one.
Ok. It was that 1pc front hook that was super tight.
Never opened I quess but now it is open.
PCB says Logitech LTD.
Kind of squaky plastic buttons on this mouse because of the design.
They aint the best manufactured mice out there. You'd think IBM would wanted better quality stuff for their peripherals. MS mice of that period were far superior.
There's a glitch in the matrix.

Apparently 32-bit is dead and nobody likes P4s.
Of course, as always, I'm open to correction...😉
