Have a legit disc of Madden 2008 pc and wanted to make a backup since they're rare to find anymore. Anyone have any ideas on
the best program to do this? How does the copy protection factor into doing this?

Did a little research on this but they're are so many ways to skin this cat. Sources looked at listed many programs like Alcohol, imgburn, anydvd and etc.

Alcohol worked well for me ripping copy-protected disks. It detects the protection type and adjusts the ripping settings accordingly.
