I was wondering if there are any cheap ssd hotswap bays that mount into a floppy drive space in a pc case. It's nice to be able to easily remove ssds in win98 builds for copying/backup/rescue etc. One where you can simply pull it out without ejection mechanisms/caddys would be ideal.

Yes but I've only seen it on Aliexpress and it't not cheap.

I have this one that my brother gave to me.

The attachment 1.jpg is no longer available

I've mounted it in the 3.5" bay of my one PC and it connects via a USB cable to the rear into one of the available USB ports.

I suppose that would be a way of running win98 on a sd card, if it can boot from it. I prefer ssds though.
