Hi everyone,
Just noticed another birthday of a historic item: Intel's 386 is now 35 years old.
- It was released on October 17th, 1985.

Specs overview
Clock frequency: 12 MHz to 40 MHz
Manufacturing process: 1,5 µm to 1,0 µm (Micron), CMOS
Instruction set: x86 (16 bit) and x86-32
Data bus: 32-Bit or 16-Bit (optional mode or SX)
Address bus: 32-Bit or 24-Bit (optional mode or SX)
Coprocessors: 80387 (or 80287)
Other featues: Internal MMU, new 32-Bit PM, V86, energy savings features (SL etc), POPADD bug
Compatible models: Cyrix 486DLC/SXL/.., Chips & Technologies Super386

Intel 386s only went to 33MHz iirc.

There's a glitch in the matrix.
A founding member of the 286 appreciation society.
Apparently 32-bit is dead and nobody likes P4s.
Of course, as always, I'm open to correction...😉
