Hi all, this is my first message and I wasn't sure if this sub forum was the appropriate one.
However, I was in the hunt of a set of games/software that I had when I was a child. Of course I had demos of them. They were Edmark.com's Electricity Virtual Lab and Mechanic Lab. I'm interested in the first one but it would be nice to have both of course.
The other day I managed to find them in an old archive CD from 18 years ago, and installed it. However I wanted to know what would've been the full experience of that game. I reverse engineered it, managed to find some useful stuff (like you can pass the argument /r so it doesn't change your screen resolution) and patch some other annoyances (like hiding thr taskbar), but I don't think that demo contains code to actually save the documents, nor it contains the full blown content.
I sent an email to the holders of the Edmark.com IP, and they said they don't have that game in store, and the only way for me to get it is using eBay or something similar. It's quite complicated for me to actually buy one of these pre owned boxed games since the listings I saw were in the US and I'm in another country.
So going back to my question/request, does anyone have a copy of this full game? if so, can you upload it somewhere (archive.org, vetusware, etc)?
Thanks to everyone! Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately it is against the rules here on VOGONS to ask for full version of a game unless its been made freeware. Since you've already been in contact with the IP holders, you could maybe follow up and ask if it is OK for another user to share his fullversion of such an old game with you since it is so hard to get hold of and they do not seem to offer it anylonger (many companies have made their old titles free/sharable).

If you're interested in buying it, I'm sure people on this forum might be able to help you. There are several proxy methods to easily get stuff shipped from Ebay US to anywhere in the world.

Okay, I just asked them about this. As a side note, the current holder of the IP is Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Never heard of them.
Whenever I get a reply, I will leave theirs over here to state if it's okay or not to share it.
Thanks
