Hi 😀
I'm trying "Windows Millennium Edition" on "Virtual Pc 2007"
Windows ME -> 128mb ram

Two questions:
1- Startup image:

The attachment wme1.png is no longer available

The startup image shows up for 1 second and then a black empty CMD screen appears for 10 seconds and later the desktop.
1 second???!!! Can this be configured?

2- Shutdown image:
When I shutdown "Windows ME", before the final screen ("It's now safe to turn off your computer"), I see this screen for few seconds:

The attachment wme2.png is no longer available

Is this normal? Do i need to configure something?

These are just cosmetic problems? I wouldn't worry about it.

ETA: A more serious problem I have encountered with VPC2007 and W98SE/ WME is that the video driver malfunctions if the virtual machine is rebooted in full screen mode. Are you also encountering this problem?

Is this too much voodoo?

I don't have problems with W98. Do you want to see my W98/VPC files (spanish)? (300mb compressed ) (send me a PM)

Also, you can edit the VM file and increase video memory to 16MB.
This should work fine if the virtual machine additions are installed.
