I've got my Pentium 133 Running Windows 98SE and for awhile I've had this problem:
It appears when scandisk corrects an error on one of my 3 scsi drives it sets the used/available space to the same on all 3 drives. It's weird because it only does it for the largest partitions on the disk, the ones that are closest to 8GB. I'm not sure if this problem occurs when the error occurs or when the error is corrected, I also realize this isn't a lot of detailed information. I can provide more info I just though I would start with this because it might be something that someone recognizes right away. If not let me know what would be helpful and I'll provide more info.
Oh I should clarify: It happens the first time you run scandisk and an error is corrected. When I run scandisk after all the drives get set to the same free/used space it doesn't keep rewriting the space on all drives it actually fixes them to the correct avaiable space.
Also : I should see if the dos scandisk does this, I'm talking about the windows scandisk while running windows in this case.
Also Also : The reason for running scandisk is a system freeze.
Thanks.
