Screamer Rally - Game does not detect the CD-ROM

Hi! At the beginning I must say your website has already helped me in many issues, but for this one I couldn't find an answer, so maybe we will find one 😁

I'm using the Daun DOSBOX with the Glide support - 2013 version I suppose. I'm trying to run Polish version of Screamer Rally. I mounted the drive and the CD with -t cdrom and -ioctl switches.

Game installs correctly, with the help of this forum I was able to get through setup.exe [cycles=10000], but when I'm trying to run the game, I encounter this screen

I tried to crack the game, I found this file called CRACK-SR.EXE. However, when i try to execute it with crack-sr -strt3fx.exe, program says it couldn't find the file, like in screen. Running as admin, full control of files, nothing works

Any ideas folks?

Short answer: No

Long answer: That really depends,

  • Daum is not supported and not maintained (if it ever was), you should use the regular DOSBox or the SVN.
  • Abandon-ware is not supported here
  • Please show us your copy is legitimate
    ( eg: post a picture of the box with the date like this guy here)
