So, a while ago I found a copy of The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II that someone had disposed of. It looked in good condition so I grabbed it.

Looking inside the case, there are 4 CDs and there is room for 4 CDs only. However, when I tried to install it on my XP build, after disk 4, it asked to insert disk 5. But there is no disk 5... 🤔

I have checked the standoffs inside the case, the ones into which the CDs are held/clipped and each of the CD compartments only has room for 1 CD (sometimes cases have a feature where multiple CDs are stacked inside a single compartment, this case doesn't seem to have that ability).

So, I have what looks like 4 CDs. Is there a 5th CD that I'm missing for this game?

There are also eBay auctions:

Here's one that's missing Disc 1:

Damn! Six disks... Still weird, the box only has room for 4 disks...

I guess I'll toss this back in the bin then...
