I just started (newbie) DOSBox. Mounted an a: and a c:. From either
a or c tried to run install. Install is a bat file which calls "for".
Dosbox response:
"Illegal command: for."(return)
"Invalid drive specification."

I guess I'll have to install by hand. But wished to report if bug or find
out what I did wrong.

Thanks

Hm FOR is a batch command for creating loops but I don't know whether it was already available in DOS... 😕

after hand copy (bypass install) the exe starts but ask to insert orginal
disk, hit return then dies.

Mount the floppy as a: -t floppy in DOSBox (or mount a directory where the content of the floppy is copied , with the -t floppy as well)..

If it doesn't work, try to dump a disk image of the game, and imgmount that image as a:..

it turns out that it a copy protection feature. the volume name has
punctuation which can not be duplicated with the "label" command.
However, the "for" command is still in error.

well the punctation can be solved by making the name long enough
