Hello,

I wanted to run an old DBase application with DOSBox. When I fire up my application I get the error message:
Error DBF/1001 Open error: MyFILE.DBF (DOS error 2)

Under VMWare I had ot change the config.sys with the two following parameters:
FILES=80
BUFFERS=20

Can I enter these parameters somewhere in the DOSBox config file?

error 2 ... hmm file not found
are you sure you mounted everything corretly ?

I mounted the directory containg the working application under vmware. The MyFILE.DBF is also located in that directory.

Any idea?

Christy, how do you start DOSBox? How do you start your application? Please let us know exactly what you do and which commands you use.
