For some reason the cd command in dosbox isnt working... I use a US layout keyboard and I can type cd/folder cd\folder or cd folder and nothing happens....it just says "Unable to change to: /folder" (or folder or \folder depending on what i try)
any help is appreciated
Have you changed to your mounted drive first or do you still have a Z: prompt? Do you see the directory you want to change to when you use the DIR command?
yes its changed to the correct drive and i can see it in the directory....
i can get into all the other folders in the c drive, just not this one...i moved the file i wanted out and it works now but is there any reason it would lock me out of that 1 folder?
What is the name of the folder? Is it "folder" or did you just use it instead of real name? If the second is true, then post the real name.

Have you tried enclosing the name in double quotes?
E.g. cd "my folder"
