Can any of you good folk on vogons ID this memory card for me please.? And is it 8-bit compatible. I know it works. It was in an old 286/12 system that dropped it's com ports when at running temperature. I searched for about a week trying to find details about it. That was some 7 years ago before my health deteriorated and I was off worth for nearly six years. It's great to be back. IIRC it has 4megs of dipp ram on it. I'd also like to know the details and positions of the blue switch bank thanks.

Dos, Win3.1 and GeoWork detected the extra memory no problem at all.

There's no FCC No.s on this board just the serial no.

Apparently 32-bit is dead and nobody likes P4s.
Of course, as always, I'm open to correction...😉

Hmmm. Does it show as EMS or XMS and what driver was used under DOS ?
Appears as 4 banks. Are you sure it is 4MB as it is ? From my experience it should only be 2Mb since 2 banks are unpopulated. Cannot read the DIP's in the picture but would guess they are 1Mbit (511000 or 44256).
The nearest I can get is a clone of a Rampart and the DIPS set the Ram size and EMS window frame but w/o better pictures is hard to tell...

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

No special driver needed at all just , what was provided with Dos.. Seen as EMS on the 286.
