Anyone knows any undocumented instruction or protected mode behaviour for 80386-Pentium II processors that needs to be emulated to boot NT 4.0/2000?

I keep getting weird resets by the OS(on NT 4.0) after the mouse displays(using the 8042 reset method) and 2000 giving a weird error code when starting itself after the 4th floppy from booting setup floppy #1? (Literally "Status = 00004001" is displayed on the screen)
