I own two P/I-P55TP4N motherboards, both with AWARD Bios and I wanted to experiment and flash MR. BIOS that I found for these boards. However software (28F001A.exe) that comes with bios file (MR_ASUS1.bio) doesn't do anything. Once I press any key in the flash utility menu it kicks me back to the DOS prompt. I also tried 28F001.exe and 28F010.exe and the result is the same. I cannot even backup existing BIOS. Situation is quite different when I use AWARD's PFLASH.exe. Software seems to work fine. I was able to backup existing Bios and was going to update it to the newer version, but decided to ask the following question before I do anything else:
Can I use AWARD's PFLASH.exe utility to flash MR.BIOS rom file (MR_ASUS1.bio)? Why 28F001A.exe does not work? Anyone successfully swapped AWARD to MR.BIOS on this motherboard?
