Hi.

I have a problem with the game "Kajko i Kokosz: Szkoła Latania" (Knights: Learn to Fly).

My problem is that I have very little fps in the game (5-6 max). The game has NO frame lock. I tried to use the practically reliable "dgvodoo" but unfortunately it failed. The game loads dgvodoo, but does not make any changes to the FPS.

My PC:

1. NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GT 1GB (DX10)
2. RAM: 3GB
3. OS: Windows 10 PRO (64-bit)
4. Processor: Intel Pentium E5200

PS. The game works without any problems on much newer equipment (e.g. laptops). The problem is mostly with the older hardware - but it meets the requirements of xD.

Info about the game: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Kajko_i_Kok … %C5%82a_Latania

This should have been posted in the Windows forum. Timing issues do not relate to dgVoodoo.

That said, have you tried turning it off and on again? It's important you use "Restart", not "Shut down". Verify in task manager afterwards that your uptime is less than a day.

🤣. I'm not an idiot, it's obvious that I checked every possible option I know. Then I will post on the "Windows" forum. Thx...

Have you actually used "Restart", not "Shut down"? Have you verified the uptime in task manager? Your reply doesn't really confirm that and it's important.

I can try to use "Restart", but what will that change?

1) On Windows 10 by default, "Shut down" will not actually shut down, but just log you out and hibernate the system (write memory to disk). See https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-wi … 10-fast-startup

2) Old software does not like, or expect, high uptimes. See https://github.com/CookiePLMonster/UptimeFaker

3) Task Manager > Performance > CPU > Uptime.

Emm... it works, wtf xD.

Before restart (Czas pracy PL = EN Uptime btw.):

After restart:

And when you start the game, the fluency improves significantly.
