As we know, there come numbers of computers by, just to show off and share the happiness. One thing I'm always interested in, is what power supply is used, what specs it has and why it is chosen.

Unfortunately the PSU is often forgotten and it seems to me it's just taken for granted to work correctly. Okay, it's usually a gray numb box with a fan, but there's so much more on which PSU fits your needs. Known or expected reliability, providing the right amps or just to make things look cool... Or the " I don't give as long as it works "perhaps?

So, would you explain in your showoff why a specific PSU is chosen? (Or maybe here) of you're not listing it yourself, could you say why this is?

There's generally nothing to list about the PSU besides its power rating if it is relevant at all. The old PSUs are usually of some unknown origins and other factors so telling what it is probably carries little meaning and its ratings are unlikely to reflect reality either... Sometimes you might have a known good thing and then you can probably list it in the specs. Majority of my PSUs are all noname things and I think there's little worth putting them with the specs.
