Hello,

On youtube you can find amazing videos of Xwing, dos, floppy-version with MT32 sound...

I installed the Xwing floppy version, but cannot get the my MT32 play the soundtrack...
This versions runs just fine with the standard soundblaster Pro and compatibles setting

My soundcard is an awe64 Value with the MT32 connected to the joystick port.
MT32 works fine with e.g. colonization so the setup must be like in the right direction.
My soundcard settings : Base IO 22h, Wave-Table 620H, MPU401 300H, irq 7, DMA 1,5

What do I have to choose in de xwing install settings? The choices are....
No Sound
Adlib and compatibles
Roland
General MIDI (GMIDI)
Soundblaster
Soundblaster Pro and Compatibles
Roland with soundblaster
General MIDI with soundblaster

Once chosen, xwing let you not make additional settings so... I tried different things, no sound from the MT32...

Anyone to point me in de right direction???

MT32 came to life... I guess the MPU401 has to be on 330?

Yes, that is indeed usually the case, in a standard or default setup.
